Once it had been discovered that the Beasts that roamed the land could bond to a humanoid, the power hungry kings of old began to force these once respected Beasts to bond to young lads. The bonded pairs were then forced into their armies to fight the other kingdoms.
For nearly a century, war ran the land of Domhan. The Riders and their Beasts were treated as tools of war, not even as soldiers or as living beings. Many deaths occurred during this time, particularly deaths of Beasts and Riders that fought in the ongoing war between the kingdoms, and soon, the Riders, Beasts, and citizens were growing tired of the war their kings were fueling.
Soon, groups of Riders came together to form a plan against their kings.
Within only a few years, the Riders fought against their kings in defiance. It took even less time for the kings of old to be overthrown. Their towers and palaces and castles crumbled under the strength of the Beast Riders they had used as tools of war. In response, the old kingdoms were shattered and Domhan was started over.
The Cities were founded, much smaller than the old kingdoms, and it was soon decided the Riders would run these new Cities. So, pairs of exceptional Riders for each city were chosen to take the role of City Sages, the leaders of these Cities.
It was then that the era of the Beast Riders and peace followed.
Centuries have passed since then and peace has lasted all that time. But now it seems that evil brews in the shadows of Domhan. People similar to the power hungry kings of old are beginning to rise, while evil and twisted organizations are helping them along.
Domhan is a lost land of fantasy and magic. Dragons, Gryphons, and Leviathans… It is here that soldiers and assassins ride on the backs of legendary beasts, and where wars and battled are fought on the backs of these powerful creatures. Here, enemies and alliances can be made to help causes of both good and bad intentions.
Many different cities exist in Domhan between the two continents, as well as a surmountable number of different creatures and races that live here. The nights are cast in shades of purple from the twin moons that hang in the night skies, making every night a magical festival in itself.
Numerous festivals are held around Domhan yearly to invite light hearted spirits across the land, while some plot in darkness.
Magic and war run supreme here as not all agree with one another. Travelers and Bounty Hunters litter the lands, the skies, and the oceans, making Domhan a place full of colorful characters and continuous adventure.
We love original characters. Here we let your imagination run wild with your creativity all across the lands and cities of our wondrous world!

' ' Dear readers,
Have you ever been to Hershey, PA? Maybe the resorts, eh? Have you never heard of the boarding school that is within the actual city? Well, you have now.
The school here, Divinity Academy, is one of the top in the country, though it may not seem like it from the inside.
Yes, this school is filled to the brink with drama! Not usual high school drama either! I have found this school to be most interesting out of all the others, so I have singled it out for my gossip technices. Yes, I am Madame Sweet Tooth. These people curse my name, or smile, thinking I'm a Goddess.
There's even scandals with the teachers and regular townspeople, let alone tourists! Ha! And they all come to my site and read my wonderful gossip blog. How pitiful, really. They all must have not much of a life.
So will you join in on the drama? Or are you too scared to find out what will happen?
It seems to me you're chickening out. No? Well then click the picture.

Watera no Tamashii - Canine's Soul « Result #4 on Mar 15, 2009, 11:07pm »
Once, long ago, humans roamed the earth, going between land masses with ease and pleasure. This was the natural way of things. There were many wild animals on the planet, wolves among them.
One day, a white wolf was lost and thirsty. Her name was Leda. She came upon a body of water that stretched as far as her eyes could see. Thinking it something to drink, she lapped it up quickly. It was bitter to the taste, but it would do. She found, upon drinking it, that it made her feel very strange. Overcome with dizziness, she fell into the water, plunging in over her head. Yet she did not drown. She felt solidity beneath her feet, and when she looked up again, discovered that she was on an underwater land bridge. She hadn't noticed it before, but now she could see it.
Eagerly she ran along it, splashing the bitter water into her coat. She ran for three days, and on the third day she found an island. She named it Reikoku-Soul Island-because there was no one on it. That is, she thought there was no one on it.
She found that the island was plentiful with all the wildlife she'd known in the past, but without many predators. She was the main predator here, along with a mountain lion here and a bear there. She ate many things and drank the sweet lake and river water that came from the island. After she had been there a while, she discovered a change in her appearance. She was no longer white, as she had been, but silver, with ice blue eyes. Not only this, but she sprouted wings.
One day, while she was flying about the island, she noticed something she hadn't before. It was another wolf. It was a male, big and black, and he had wings of red. She went down to him, and he explained to her all about the island.
His name was Chryses, and he had lived on the island for two years longer than Leda had. He said that the island's water was magical, and it gave them powers normal wolves didn't have. The two soon fell in love, and began to populate the island.
And so it went that many children were born, and the island soon grew full of wolves of all kinds. Some of the wolves didn't have powers, as Chryses and Leda had, but some of them did. Once Chryses and Leda were gone, the wolves continued to grow within themselves, and they split into groups.
Shiro and his mate began the Heart pack, loving all and caring for all who came into their territory. Shiro's worst enemy, Kuro, began the Heartless pack, trying to compete with Shiro. The Full Moon pack was made much later, created by Gata. The New Moon pack was created when a wolfess named Sakura asked Gata for permission to split his land in two. And, very last of all, the land that was left was named Kuran no Hikari by its founders-Kaen and Koori. Thus, all of the packs were made and that was the start of Watera no Tamashii

The Window of Heaven « Result #5 on Mar 12, 2009, 12:43am »
The window of Heaven is open, The angels can fly to and fro, And those that I love can all gather, And look down at Christmas below. For Christmas is special in Heaven, The love is so easy to see, And down from the window at Christmas, God sends a present to me. 'I will forever be with you, Your side, I shall always be near, And though you may not always see me, In your heart I will always be there. I will warm up your soul during Christmas, My love is a fire burning bright, Then my blanket of love will surround you, And keep you all through the night. On the brink of your Christmas morning, I'll be the star at the top of the tree, Shining my light on your teardrops, You'll see a reflection of me. Then as the gifts are all opened, With the children encircling the hearth, Look deep in their little faces, Their kisses will be from my heart. For the window of Heaven is open, My love can pour out so free, And those that I love can all gather, And look up to Heaven at me.'

It's a beautiful, warm spring morning and a man and his wife are spending the day at the zoo. She's wearing a cute, loose-fitting, pink spring dress, sleeveless with straps. He's wearing his normal jeans and a T-shirt.
The zoo is not very busy this morning. As they walk through the ape exhibit, they pass in front of a very large hairy gorilla. Noticing the woman, the gorilla goes ape. He jumps up on the bars, and holding on with one hand (and 2 feet), he grunts and pounds his chest with his free hand. He is obviously excited at the pretty lady in the wavy dress.
The husband, noticing the excitement, thinks this is funny. He suggests that his wife teases the poor fellow some more. The husband suggests she pucker her lips, wiggle her bottom at him, and play along.
She does, and Mr. Gorilla gets even more excited, making noises that would wake the dead.
Then the husband suggests that she let one of her straps fall to show a little more skin.
She does, and Mr. Gorilla is about to tear the bars down.
"Now try lifting your dress up your thighs and sort of fan it at him." he says. This drives the gorilla absolutely crazy and now he's doing flips.
Then the husband nabs his wife by the hair, rips open the door to the cage, slings her into the cage with the gorilla and slams the cage door shut. "Now, tell HIM you have a headache . . . "

Searra, an eight-year-old brain tumor patient, was a "regular" in the Radiation Oncology Department, much like the other patients who came to the cancer center everyday for a five- or six-week period. With my office located near the main entrance, I could hear Searra, also called CC, coming from a distance. Sure enough, she popped her head in every morning around 10:00 A.M. to say "hi" or, more important, to check out the toys and coloring materials I had stashed in my office.wow power leveling Several steps behind, CC's grandmother, also called Mommie, since she served as her guardian, would trail in as she tried keeping up with CC's anxious pace. CC was not the least bit interested in hearing more about her cancer or her hair loss. When she walked into the department, it was time to socialize with the staff, who became her instant friends, and to see what kind of masterpiece she could color for Mommie before she was called back for her treatment. I was taken aback by the love CC had for Mommie. Whenever I asked her about home life, school work or how she was feeling, every response referred to her time spent with Mommie, the funny stories they shared and how much she loved her.wow gold On numerous occasions, CC made it clear that Mommie was the center of her world. When CC was first treated with radiation therapy, wow power leveling the therapists told her that they would give her a quarter each day if she promised to keep her head still on the treatment table. Certainly, wow gold after six weeks of therapy, she had a pocketful of quarters! So on the last day, the therapists wanted to know what big toy she was going to buy with all her change. CC replied, "Oh, I am not going to buy a toy. I am going to buy something for Mommie because of all the nice things she does for me." CC's sincerity, unselfishness, warmth and loyalty to Mommie taught me about what is really important in life. She constantly showed that loving others with true commitment is the best gift you can give another-whether a family member or a friend. Certainly, CC has an excuse to complain or be angry at the world for a childhood totally different from the other children's in her third-grade class. I have never heard her complain about her bald head, wow power leveling swollen face and body (as a result of the steroids), or low energy level, which keeps her from playing outside. CC continues to live her life the way she chooses, and that includes giving of herself to make the world a better place for others, especially Mommie. CC reminds me to not take those people I love for granted and to look beyond the superficiality that is often found in day-to-day living.wow gold I am reminded to be more thankful for what I have today and to not dwell on what is behind me or what lies ahead. CC, just like many other cancer patients, is a true example that we aren't always dealt the perfect hand, so we have to make the best of what we have today.
The year is 1845, and the place is Feudal Japan. Closed off from the rest of the world, but with external pressures to open trading coming from all sides, Japan has still managed to rise culturally and economically. The Emperor is the most popular and loved ruler in fifty years, and the royal family is thought to be made up of heavenly people descended from the gods. The country runs smoothly and efficiently, the shogunate handling all matters of state and war while the Emperor and his advisers handle matters of politics and religion. The economy is running steadily, with the merchant class seeming to gain in wealth and power as the years progress, and the artisans in the cities creating new works of beauty and crafting amazing inventions. Everyone seems happy. Everyone seems healthy. Everyone loves their rulers.
Except...not everyone is happy, nor healthy, and certainly not everyone loves the Emperor Raidon or the Empress Fuyo. With the rise of the merchant class and the subjugation placed upon them by the shogunate and samurai, the common people grow restless and agitated. Talk of rebellion is spread through the townships. And though members of nobility and the military try to ignore the steady drumming of insurgency rising from their very cities, it is becoming harder and harder as the rebels take on strength and determination. Adding fuel to the fire is the inability of the royal family to provide the empire with an heir. Empress Fuyo, though she had been the wife of His Excellency for nine years, has not had a single son to carry on the heavenly line. Rebels spit venom at the weary empress, their insults multiplying as they shout things like "Barren woman!", and "We don't want a son-less empress!". The rebels look to Akina Nakahara, the favored courtesan of His Excellency, and plans to kick the empress off her rightful throne to put Akina in her place culminate at an alarming rate.
Outside the rising palace mutiny, the criminal organizations known as Yakuza war against each other to see who will come out as "ruler" of their personal crime syndicate, and bloodshed runs in the city streets. In the center of this criminal warfare, the drug Opium has begun to rise in popularity. Addicts, the desperate men and women who scrape and claw for the morphine-like drug, fuel the income of the mainstream opium sellers and yakuza. Opium dens and brothels have become common institutions within the cities, and there's a drug for sale for every addict, and a whore for sale for every man or woman willing to pay for the services.
Now, with crime turning to war in the cities, with talk of revolution spoken not only by the common man but by the very people in the palace service, with disease and addiction and the seedy atmosphere of brothels and opium dens calling out to people in the streets, will the Heavenly Kingdom crumble? How can any of us survive where even songs we thought we knew by heart are changing into strange melodies? The answer...well, that's all up to you. Enjoy the Heavenly City, at least while it lasts.
